Habitat loss is one of the main threats to terrestrial animals globally and Chile is no exception. The loss, fragmentation and degradation of the native forest of Chile and Argentina is recognized as one of the main threats to Darwin’s frogs. Therefore, one of the key actions of this conservation strategy is aimed at protecting and restoring native forest across the distributional range of Darwin’s frogs.
